FAQ

Q: Can I make multiple Flugi?
A: No, please stick to just one. However you can make a character that's not you, but it must be submitted to NPC's gallery.

Q: Any tips on making the human character?
A: Any artist would love to be in their own creations, and we allow that! Think of it as if you were living in a world that gets hit by a worldwide catastrophe. After six years things start slowly getting back to normal and here's when your story starts. Want to be a town founder? A Flux Hunter? A merchant? The choice is yours! The data we require is:

Name: Your name (Don't use the real name tho, pick one of your choice X) )
Age: Just don't go ancient, 5 - 90 should be fine
Height:
Weight:
Character: What's your personality?
Likes:
Dislikes:
Shift: The motion you perform to change into a flux

Nick: The nickname of your Flux
Type: Avalon, Buyan or Mu
Height:
Weight:
Power: What is your ability?

You don't have to be a Flux of course, normal humans are welcome as well ^^
PS use some different clothes than you normally use for your avatar, be creative :D

Q: Are there any power restrictions for Flux?
A: Yes. First of all no Mary Sues. Nobody likes overpowered characters.
Secondly, the type ratio is 6 for Avalon, 3 for Buyan and 1 or Mu. Meaning that for ten Fluxi there's only one Mu. I understand it's the most versatile type but please do mind the balance.
Other restrictions include:
Avalon - Can only depend on their bodies. No energy blasts, no transforming, unless the anatomy allows it to. If you do transform into a form whose body produces toxin or flammable fluid then it's ok.
Buyan - Very weak physically, mostly depend on their elements in battle. Flying only available for Fire and Wind types.
Mu - The only restriction is the user's inability to control their power to it's full extent.

Q: Any tips on Flux powers?
A: Many people seem to confuse the type the power should belong to, Giving Avalon the power of Mu. So here's the more detailed tips on Flux powers:
Avalon - Depend completely on their bodies. However it is possible for them to produce body excretions with various effects, such as poison, flammable liquid, glue, pollen causing  sleep, antibodies that modify the opponent's body when injected. Anything is possible AS LONG AS IT IS CREATED BY THEIR BODY. Other things like turning invisible (like a chameleon) or stretching or shapeshifting are allowed only if their body structure allows it to. Everything has a limit.

Buyan - Can control or become elements. And that's that. Some examples of elements include: earth, fire, water, wind, lightning, light, darkness, gravity, ice, life, death, energy, metal, or even plastic. Any material, corporeal or not can be controlled, however Buyan can control only ONE. More than one is an extremely rare case.

Mu - This is where you can go ape$hit for all I care. Want to turn into a radio? Go ahead. A shapeless blob able to absorb anything? No problem. A half horse half tank that shoots rainbows out of its butt? Hell yes. But do remember that even if Mu are versatile they have a weakness. No invincibility crap. For starters, they can't do everything. Three things at most. Can they be immortal? Yes, but remember that they have to have a weakness.

Q: Can I have <some feature> on my Flux?
A: We don't really have any set limitations on features, given that they are reasonable, and make sense for the world of Terra. However, there are a few specific features that Fluxi must possess.
The body is completely white and covered in tattoo-like markings composed of lines. So no filled-in spaces.
The body possess no hair. Think of it as wearing a skin-tight suit.
All Flugi have a mask with a dark blue visor. The dark red visor symbolizes a Echo.
The only clothes available for Flux are headgear like hats, glasses or earrings, and only if they act as Shift motion.

Aside from that there's no restriction to their size or shape (but do be reasonable, a Flux that can touch the Moon standing on earth is a hell of an exaggeration)

Of course, if there is any confusion, or if you are unsure if a certain feature is okay, please do ask us.

Q: Can my Flux consist of two people?
A: It is possible to use another person as Shift motion, however do mind that this person will be stuck with you for the duration of the transformation. The second person can be a Flux too.

Q: If my flux consists of two people, can I use the second half's powers?
A: No. The second half is independent and acts on it's own, even if you're merged.

Q: Do my Flux form have to resemble a human looking shape or can he look a little more freakier? (for example like having like 4 arms or no legs, etc)
A: Flux form can be whatever you want, but it has to stick with it's type properties. Only Mu can have their bodies split into couple of parts, so if you're one whole then you can look however you want.

Q:For the "Shift" movement, does it have to involve using some sort of clothing (like a putting on a hood or twisting a cap and such) or can it simply be any body movement? (such as twirling, snapping fingers, or jogging in place)
A: Somehow it became a quite popular thing to do, use clothing as Shift movement, but you can use any movement you want, you're not restricted to clothes. You can dance flamenco for all I care and still be able to shift X) Do remember that, if the shift involves a hat, the hat stays on in Flux form, and if someone pulls it off then the Shift is canceled.

Q: I understand that people change by doing a certain action, but how do they change back?
A: There are couple of ways to shift back:
- If the Shift was performed using an hat/glassess/earring then removing them cancels out the transformation.
- If the Shift was performed by using some kind of clothing then transformation is canceled by opposite motion ex. if you take off a jacket, you have to mime putting it on.
- If the Shift was performed by a certain motion other that involving clothing , you have to perform that motion again.

Also if the Flux gets exhausted the transformation is automatically canceled. This is true for all above examples.

Hey ComX-1, I've been working on an Avalon flux but I have two questions that need to be addressed.

1) I want my fly to resemble a werewolf but in your page on Fluxi types you state "They have absolutely no bodily hair." I wanted to give my Fluxi fur. Does fur fall under that rule?

2) My idea for my Fluxi's power is the ability to read and manipulate Aura, like the pokemon Lucario, but adhering to the rules of an Avalon. He can only use his aura on his physical self.

Please get back to me as soon as possible.
